Pinhole photography is more than making fuzzy images with a toy home made camera in a box. It is photography at its most basic and elemental. All these images have been taken using a shutterless digital camera (Panasonic Lumix GF1 with a "pinwide" lens substitute from Wanderlust. The images taken in raw are rendered in monochrome.
With pinhole photography there is much experimentation, exposures are guesses aided by experience and not all subjects work well.
These images were taken over a five year period and represent the best of a great deal of trial and error. I have a small list of subjects I would like to add including a seascape, a spreading chestnut tree, a characterful tree stump and a windmill. I also plan to try a pinhole modification to my canon 6d. So more to come, in the meantime I hope you enjoy these - let me know if you do. Thanks Doug.
